The House just passed two bills aimed at wrestling control of the swamp, I mean, Washington D.C., back from the clutches of the radical left! Turns out, even some Democrats are waking up to the fact that letting cities run wild with their “progressive” experiments leads to nothing but chaos and crime.
These bills are part of President Trump’s ongoing effort to clean up D.C., which had become a haven for criminals thanks to the city’s soft-on-crime policies. One bill puts the brakes on D.C.’s ability to make their sentencing laws even more lenient – can you believe they were trying to go further left? The other says that if you’re 14 and commit a violent crime, you’ll be tried as an adult. Common sense, folks!
Of course, the usual suspects are crying foul, claiming it’s “federal overreach.” But when a city can’t even keep its own streets safe, it’s time for the adults in the room – i.e., the Trump administration – to step in and restore order. The left wants to end cash bail and “beautify” the city, while Trump is fighting for law and order. The contrast is stark!
