Trump Wants to Turn Venezuela Into a Giant Gas Station for America’s Oil Thirst — Good Luck With That

Trump to the Rescue: America’s Oil Titans to Save Venezuela from Its Own Socialist Disaster!

In a move that will shock absolutely no one who’s been paying attention, President Donald J. Trump—America’s greatest president since, well, himself—has boldly declared that U.S. oil companies will swoop into Venezuela like economic superheroes and rebuild the nation’s oil industry from the ashes of socialist failure. Forget the fact that the country is currently a political dumpster fire with a government in shambles, a collapsing economy, and infrastructure held together by duct tape and prayers. Trump sees opportunity where others see chaos—and by “others,” we mean anyone with a functioning brain.

Let’s be clear: Venezuela’s oil reserves are the envy of the world, but under decades of Marxist mismanagement—first under the late Hugo Chávez and then his bumbling, narco-terrorist successor Nicolás Maduro—the once-thriving industry has been reduced to a leaking, rusted joke. But now that Maduro and his equally corrupt wife have been captured in a daring U.S. operation (because apparently we’re doing *Homeland* fanfiction now), Trump says it’s time for American ingenuity and grit to step in and fix what socialism broke.

Never mind that rebuilding Venezuela’s oil infrastructure would cost billions, crude prices are meh at best, and the country’s heavy crude is a refinery’s worst nightmare. Also, who cares if the political situation is unstable? That’s just called “adventure capitalism” in Trumpworld.

Chevron, the last American company still clinging to Venezuela like a barnacle on a sinking ship, has somehow survived sanctions, waivers, and its own questionable judgment. But now, Trump wants ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, and the rest of the oil gang to rush in, checkbooks blazing, and turn Venezuela into the next Texas. Because nothing says “smart investment” like pouring money into a country that just lost its fourth president in a decade.

Of course, experts are scratching their heads, wondering who in their right mind would invest in such a mess. But then again, they also thought Trump wouldn’t win in 2016 and 2020—so clearly, the experts don’t know everything.

Bottom line: If anyone can turn socialist failure into American profit, it’s Trump and his army of fossil-fueled capitalists. God bless America—and may the oil gush eternal.
