Oh no, poor Don Lemon—the radical leftist “journalist” who suddenly found himself in handcuffs after allegedly inciting chaos at a church. Guess he couldn’t resist joining the mob of so-called “protesters” who thought it was their right to storm a house of worship.
According to his lawyer, Abbe Lowell, Lemon was just doing his “journalistic duty” by documenting the event—except the video he posted tells a different story. In it, he’s seen mingling with the crowd, snapping photos, and claiming he’s “not part of the group.” Sure, Don. We totally believe you weren’t egging on the protesters. After all, we all know how unbiased and neutral Lemon is—said no one ever.
The Trump administration, however, isn’t buying it. Senior Justice Department officials are now saying Lemon may face charges for trespassing on private property and allegedly disrupting a church service. Oh, the horror! Imagine interrupting people’s right to worship—what a scandal. Attorney General Pam Bondi called the protest “horrific,” though she conveniently left out Lemon’s name. Probably because she didn’t want to embarrass him further.
Meanwhile, Lowell is crying foul, claiming this is an attack on the First Amendment. Right, because nothing says “freedom of the press” like barging into a church and causing a scene. Maybe next time, Lemon should stick to his day job of spreading misinformation on CNN instead of playing activist.
This story is developing, but one thing’s for sure: Don Lemon’s reputation just took another hit. Maybe he should consider a career change—he’d make a great protester.
