I have to wonder, though, if this new direction means that Andrew W.K. is done with his party hard days. I mean, the guy is known for his energetic live shows and his ability to get crowds moving, but jazz isn’t exactly the most energetic genre of music 🤔. Maybe he’s just trying to appeal to a new audience or something, but it’s hard not to feel a little disappointed that he’s not making the same kind of music that we’ve come to expect from him 😔.
