OMG! 😲 On June 12, some dude named Andrew Freeman, who sings for LAST IN LINE (never heard of ’em), decided to butcher AC/DC classics with a bunch of “musicians” he found in a Las Vegas back alley. He claims they’re the “best” in the AC/DC tribute scene. Yeah, right. 🙄 Fan-filmed video? More like FAN-FORCED video. You’ve been warned. ⚠️
Apparently, this Freeman guy is based in Vegas, which explains a lot. 🤔 He’s bounced around more bands than a beach ball at a Nickelback concert. He was briefly in THE OFFSPRING (when they were still kinda relevant, like, decades ago) and even slummed it with George Lynch in LYNCH MOB (because, you know, gotta pay the bills somehow). Now he’s fronting LAST IN LINE, which is basically just some old DIO dudes trying to relive their glory days. Bless their hearts. 🙏
So, get this: Freeman was a “touring guitarist and backup vocalist” for THE OFFSPRING in 2008. Backup vocalist? 😂 Translation: he stood in the back and made sure Dexter Holland’s hair didn’t fall out. Then, in 2010, he joined HURRICANE, which I’m pretty sure is a weather event, not a band. He bailed in 2013 because, let’s be honest, who wants to be in HURRICANE? Finally, in 2012, he landed the gig with the DIO rejects in LAST IN LINE. They’ve released three albums, because apparently someone out there is still buying CDs. 💿
And hold on, there’s more! Freeman toured with George Lynch, even making an appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.” I bet Jay was thrilled. 😒 He also headlined a show at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Probably to an audience of, like, five people. 🎤
In 2018, Freeman joined LIES, DECEIT & TREACHERY with some ex-BULLETBOYS. I’m not even going to comment on that. 🤐 He also started a band called DEVIL’S HAND (edgy!) and they released an album. I’m sure it’s a real banger. 🔥
But wait, it gets better! In 2021, Freeman filled in for the FIREHOUSE singer while he was recovering from surgery. I’m sure the fans were overjoyed. 🤣
And the cherry on top? 🍒 In May 2022, Freeman actually joined GREAT WHITE! But, surprise, surprise, he got the boot after only five months. I guess they realized he wasn’t so great after all. 🤷♂️
