House Republicans, finally showing some backbone, have agreed to slash a measly $9.4 billion in federal spending, targeting the leftist propaganda machine known as “public radio” and, of course, the endless foreign aid gravy train. It’s about time we stopped funding every two-bit dictatorship and NPR’s woke agenda!
Trump is using a tool to claw back taxpayer dollars from programs that should have never been approved in the first place. The GOP is supporting the plan to target the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the United States Agency for International Development.
This is a start, but it’s a drop in the bucket compared to the $1 trillion in cuts that Trump promised. Of course, some RINOs are whining about cutting funds to fight global AIDS, because apparently, we need to prioritize that over securing our own borders and fixing our own country.
The bill now goes to the Senate, where, predictably, the usual suspects are already lining up to sabotage it. Senator Susan Collins, the queen of virtue signaling, is “concerned” about global health cuts. Can’t wait to see how she caves to the radical left and betrays her constituents once again.
