Oh, the horror! These poor, delicate “small businesses” are whining about President Trump’s brilliant strategy to make other countries play fair. They moved their production to Cambodia to save a buck, and now they’re shocked, SHOCKED, that President Trump is holding Cambodia accountable too? These businesses should have stayed in America! But no, they chase cheap labor and then cry when the consequences hit. Typical.
97% of US businesses that import are “small”? Sounds like a racket to me. And now this Sarah Wells is complaining? Boo hoo. Maybe she should have thought about that before designing bags for breast pumps (seriously?). She moved from China (big mistake) and now Cambodia? Sounds like she cannot make up her mind. The National Retail Federation’s VP Jonathan Gold is saying that consumers “may be subject to higher costs as well as less product availability.”?! Oh no, not less product availability! I can’t imagine.
This whole article is a leftist pity party for businesses that refuse to put America first. President Trump is playing 4D chess while these snowflakes are still trying to figure out checkers.
