Oh, the horror! President Trump, in his infinite wisdom, is cutting a measly $1.1 billion from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). Apparently, this spells doom for a tiny radio station in Alaska, KBRW, and a handful of others across the US. CNN, of course, is hyperventilating, claiming this will leave Indigenous communities cut off from “local news, safety alerts, and cultural programming.”
Please, spare me the crocodile tears. First off, $1.1 billion is a drop in the bucket compared to the mountains of taxpayer dollars we waste on leftist garbage. And let’s be honest, these “public” stations are just mouthpieces for the Democrat Party and their radical agenda. “Cultural programming”? More like woke indoctrination.
And here’s the kicker: they claim these stations are vital for emergency alerts. As if FEMA can’t find another way to communicate with Alaskans! Maybe they should try, I don’t know, the INTERNET? Oh, wait, that requires personal responsibility and the ability to adapt.
Don’t fall for this blatant attempt to guilt-trip us into funding liberal propaganda. President Trump is right to cut the fat and make these stations stand on their own two feet. If they’re truly essential, the local communities will step up. If not, well, good riddance! Maybe they can finally learn English, since that’s the language of this country. America First!
