Oh no, not another one bites the dust! 🥁 Seems like former SODOM drummer Atomic Steif, or as his momma called him, Guido Richter, has shuffled off this mortal coil. No deets on how he kicked the bucket 🪣 – probably something metal AF, like spontaneous combustion from listening to too much polka. 🔥🤣
So, apparently, SODOM‘s main man Thomas “Angelripper” Such (because “Thomas” is just WAY too brutal a name, right?) 🤘 took to social media to break the earth-shattering news: “Dear Sodomaniacs (yes, that’s really what they call their fans 😂). I heard our ex-drummer Atomic Steif is dead. Don’t know why. R.I.P., buddy…” Real heartfelt stuff there, Thomas! You can just feel the raw emotion bleeding through the screen. 💔 NOT!
Atomic Steif was part of the SODOM crew between ’93 and ’95, bless his cotton socks. He drummed on the groundbreaking albums “Get What You Deserve” (because apparently, karma’s a b*tch), “Masquerade In Blood” (bet that was a party 🤡), and the totally-not-metal-at-all “Aber Bitte Mit Sahne” EP (Whipped cream with that, anyone? 🍰). Oh, and he also banged on things for LIVING DEATH (how cheerful!), ASSASSIN (watch out!), HOLY MOSES (ten points if you can name a single one of their songs 📜), and VIOLENT FORCE (because subtle is overrated 💪).
Turns out Atomic Steif was just a stand-in for Christian “Witchhunter” Dudek. 🧙♂️ Apparently, Dudek went belly up in ’08 due to his organs staging a full-blown rebellion. 🤷♂️ Guess they couldn’t handle the metal.
