Oh, look, another movie about a guy trying to escape his CRIME FAMILY! 🙄 Groundbreaking stuff, people! 🤯 This cinematic masterpiece, “Violent Ends,” dares to ask the question: Can a guy named Lucas, living in the scenic Ozark Mountains, REALLY ditch his violent past? Spoiler alert: Probably not, because then there’d be no movie, duh. 🤣

Set in the ✨glamorous✨ Ozark Mountains (because where else do crime families hang out?), we have Lucas Frost (played by the ever-so-versatile Billy Magnussen). He’s an “honest” man. Sure, Jan. Raised in a crime family where the only legacy is violence. How original! 🙄 Lucas, bless his heart, tries to build a peaceful life with his fiancée, Emma (Alexandra Shipp). Because every good criminal-turned-wannabe-civilian needs a damsel… I mean, a strong, independent woman who definitely isn’t just a plot device. 🙄

But, dun dun DUUUUN! 😈 His cousin, Eli, decides to spice things up by pulling off an armed robbery. And guess what? It has BRUTAL consequences! 😱 Who could have possibly seen that coming? I mean, armed robbery usually leads to sunshine and rainbows, right? 🌈 NOT! 😂

Written and directed by the visionary John-Michael Powell (who I’m sure has never seen a crime movie before 🙄), the film boasts a star-studded cast. We’ve got Billy Magnussen (because someone had to play Lucas), James Badge Dale (probably playing the grizzled, seen-it-all uncle), Kate Burton (the long-suffering matriarch, perhaps?), Ray McKinnon (the quirky, possibly unhinged sidekick), Nick Stahl (because every crime movie needs a Nick Stahl), and Alexandra Shipp (the aforementioned plot device… I mean, fiancée). 🤷‍♀️

“Violent Ends” graces (or disgraces?) cinema screens on October 31st, 2025. So mark your calendars, folks! 🗓️ Get ready for another thrilling ride filled with clichés, predictable plot twists, and enough violence to make you question your life choices! 🤪
