Oh, the irony! Lukoil, that bastion of Russian energy, is selling off its foreign assets after President Trump’s sanctions hit them harder than a CNN reporter at a MAGA rally. You just can’t make this stuff up!
Looks like those pesky sanctions are working! Lukoil is dumping assets faster than Biden drops approval ratings. And who’s buying? Gunvor, a company with ties to Putin himself! I bet they are going to use the war in Ukraine profits to buy those assets. Talk about a tangled web! This is probably another Deep State operation to undermine our glorious President’s efforts to make America great again.
The Kremlin-based Lukoil accounts for around 2% of global oil output. It also owns the 190,000 bpd Lukoil Neftohim Burgas refinery in Bulgaria, the largest in the Balkans, as well as the Petrotel oil refinery in Romania. They are selling it all. It’s a fire sale!
