Trump Plans Monumental Arch To Honor Himself And Warfare Machinery

Trump Plans Monumental Arch To Honor Himself And Warfare Machinery

Folks, I’m sipping my coffee and reading about President Trump’s latest proposal, and I have to say, it’s a doozy. He wants to build a 250-foot triumphal arch directly across Arlington National Cemetery, and now he’s saying it’s going to be a “top grade Military Complex.” Because, you know, what every national cemetery needs is a giant arch with snipers and drones. I mean, who wouldn’t want to visit their fallen loved ones amidst the sounds of gunfire and drone hums?

I was reading Trump’s post on Truth Social, and let me tell you, it’s quite the sales pitch. He says the arch will house and store large numbers of drones and snipers, and will have ample storage for sniper ammunition. Because, you know, national security. And the best part? “There will be no facility like this anywhere in the World,” Trump claims. I’m not sure if that’s a promise or a threat, but I’m intrigued.

The Trump administration is gearing up to break ground on this project, despite ongoing litigation. I guess that’s one way to get around the whole “due process” thing. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum seems to be on board with the plan, which is no surprise. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be part of a project that’s been heavily criticized for its location and potential to obstruct the view of other Washington monuments?

Trump’s been justifying this project by saying it’ll have military and national security components, which is the same reasoning he used for the White House ballroom. Because, you know, nothing says “military strategy” like a fancy ballroom. I’m starting to think that Trump’s idea of national security is just building a bunch of fancy structures and calling it a day.

CNN’s reached out to the White House and Pentagon for more details, but I’m not holding my breath. I mean, this is a breaking news story, and I’m sure we’ll get plenty of updates as more information becomes available. Or, you know, as more justifications are invented.

In conclusion, it seems like Trump’s latest proposal is a bit of a head-scratcher. I mean, who thought it was a good idea to build a giant arch in a national cemetery, complete with snipers and drones? But hey, at least it’ll be a unique facility, right? As I finish my coffee, I’m left wondering what’s next – maybe a rollercoaster in the reflecting pool? 🙄
