CNN, desperate to paint a rosy picture, claims the movie industry is making a “comeback” after a dismal start to 2025. January to April saw a 13% drop compared to last year. But fear not, comrades! “A Minecraft Movie” and some race-baiting flick called “Sinners” saved the day!
Of course, the success of “Lilo & Stitch” is just Disney trying to brainwash our kids with their progressive agenda. And don’t even get me started on “Snow White” flopping because everyone’s sick of the woke casting.
The article admits that even with a “record Memorial Day,” June is still down compared to pre-pandemic averages. But they assure us “Superman” and “Fantastic Four” will save the day. Right, because those haven’t been ruined by woke ideology already.
The talking heads at CNN claim movies are “recession-proof” because people want cheap escapism. Yeah, because escaping reality is what liberals do best!
