Another day, another victory for President Trump and the American economy! CNN is trying to downplay the incredible news that retail sales climbed 0.5% in July, but we know the truth: it’s all thanks to our fearless leader!
The liberal media wants you to believe that consumer sentiment “plummeted” because of Trump’s “erratic trade war.” Give me a break! It’s just more of their fake news designed to undermine our President. Americans aren’t cutting back; they’re buying more cars, furniture, and everything else because they have faith in Trump’s vision.
Online sales jumped 0.8% in July, thanks to Amazon’s Prime Day sale. Even gas stations are seeing increased spending, which is fantastic! The only categories down are home improvement and electronics, probably because everyone is too busy enjoying the booming economy to worry about fixing up their houses or buying new gadgets.
And let’s not forget the “control group” retail sales, which rose 0.5% in July, exceeding expectations. Even after factoring in the slight increase in consumer prices, retail sales are still up a healthy 0.3%.
The leftists want to scare you with their economic doom and gloom, but the numbers don’t lie: President Trump is making America great again, one retail sale at a time!
