Now You See Me: Now You Don’t – Prepare to be Underwhelmed

Oh great, another “Now You See Me” movie. 🙄 Because we DEFINITELY needed more of these cinematic masterpieces. Jesse Eisenberg is back, probably still mumbling at the speed of light, and Woody Harrelson is probably phoning it in for a quick paycheck. Dave Franco? Yeah, sure, why not.

Isla Fisher returns, maybe she’ll actually get some decent screen time this time? And joining the circus are Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt, because what this franchise really needed was more fresh, young faces to dilute the already wafer-thin plot. Don’t forget Rosamund Pike, slumming it as a villain, and Morgan Freeman, who clearly lost a bet and had to agree to this. Prepare for ‘magic’ so unbelievable, it’ll make David Blaine look like a seasoned professional.

The Four Horsemen (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher) are back — to unite with a new generation of illusionists (Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt) for their most global, high-stakes magical adventure yet. Their mission: Expose the corruption of Veronika Vanderberg (Rosamund Pike), a powerful diamond heiress with ties to arms dealers, traffickers, and warlords. Aided by the legendary Thaddeus (Morgan Freeman), the two generations of magicians must overcome their differences to try and defeat their cunning and dangerous adversary, in this magic-fueled heist filled with the franchise’s signature twists, turns, and thrilling reveals — along with some of the most thrilling illusions ever captured on film.

NOW YOU SEE ME: NOW YOU DON’T is directed by Ruben Fleischer (Venom, Uncharted, Zombieland), from a screenplay by Seth Grahame-Smith and Michael Lesslie and Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese, story by Eric Warren Singer, and based on characters created by Boaz Yakin & Edward Ricourt. Lionsgate presents, in association with Media Capital Technologies, a Cohen Pictures production.

The film hits cinemas on 14th November 2025. Get ready to have your mind… mildly inconvenienced? 🤔

Oh, and here’s the poster. I’m sure it’s full of symbolic meaning and artistic genius. Or maybe it’s just a bunch of people standing around looking vaguely mysterious. Who knows? 🤷‍♀️
