Greta Van Fleet have announced a new album titled Palace for the People. Ahead of its October 9th release, the band has unveiled the single “Saw You Stand.”
New Music and Upcoming Album
“Saw You Stand” follows previous single “Play Your Games,” which the band released in late May. The new single starts out as a soft piano ballad, and then kicks in about a minute in as singer Josh Kiszka’s vocals reach a soaring falsetto.
The album Palace for the People was co-produced by the band and Mike Elizondo (Turnstile, Fiona Apple).
Band Statement and Inspiration
“We love each other just as much as ever, if not more, because we’ve got to spend quality time together off of the road,” Josh Kiszka stated. “We’ve grown closer, and we have more to say and share than ever.”
Bassist Sam Kiszka added, “I can’t tell you how many people have come up to me and said ‘This is my best friend. We met through your music or at your show,’ and we realized, the music is our palace!”

After playing an intimate show in New York City in May, Greta Van Fleet will do the same in Chicago on Friday night, July 31st, at the Metro.
