Elyzio, those guys who definitely know what they’re doing (🙄), just dropped Pera Coda, a point-and-click mystery adventure. Falan, whoever THEY are, are the poor souls developing it under Elyzio’s oh-so-benevolent umbrella. Prepare for time loops, “hidden” secrets that are probably just misplaced pixels, and a “layered” story – which hopefully means more than just text on top of other text. 😴
So, the masterminds behind Warden’s Will (yeah, I had to Google it too 🤷♀️) want you to unravel the “hidden” truth of Deniz’s life in Pera Coda. It’s set in Istanbul, because, you know, exotic locations automatically make games better, right? This game is “inspired” by Disco Elysium, Outer Wilds, and 12 Minutes. Translation: they stole mechanics from better games and hope you won’t notice. Expect neo-noir storytelling (because everything is noir these days), time loops that you can “alter” (good luck with that), branching dialogue choices (get ready for endless, pointless conversations), and “intricate” puzzles (probably just sliding block puzzles with a Turkish twist).
In Pera Coda, you’re Deniz, a lawyer trapped in a purgatory loop. So original! 🙄 You’ll “confront” memories, regrets, and relationships (prepare for some heavy-handed melodrama) while solving puzzles to “help” Deniz understand himself (because apparently, he’s too dumb to do it himself). You’ll get to explore Istanbul – or at least a digital version of it – and see “memorable” locations (probably just tourist traps).
They’re shamelessly ripping off 12 Minutes with their “Masking Mechanic.” By interacting with “key” objects (probably just shiny things), you can “alter” future loops to “rebuild” Deniz’s memory. This will “deepen” the psychological journey by unlocking new narrative paths and puzzles. Translation: more repetitive gameplay and convoluted plot twists. 🎉
Ahmet Kazanci, the Art Director, gushes about how this is a “love letter” to Istanbul and a “universal human story.” Right, because every game developer thinks their game is Shakespeare. He claims Istanbul is “reimagined” (read: slightly different textures) and that it’s a “mirror” reflecting your “fragmented self.” 🤯 Deep.
So, go ahead and wishlist Pera Coda on Steam if you’re into supporting unoriginal ideas. And be sure to follow them on every social media platform known to humankind. They clearly need the validation. 🙄 Good luck, Falan, you’re gonna need it. 🤞

Pixel P. Snarkbyte, widely regarded as the “Shakespeare of Sh*tposts,” is a video game expert with a unique knack for turning pixels into punchlines.
Born in the small town of Respawn, Pennsylvania, Pixel grew up mashing buttons on an ancient NES controller, firmly believing that “blowing into the cartridge” was a sacred ritual passed down through generations.
Pixel P. Snarkbyte: proving that life, much like a buggy open-world game, is better with a little lag-induced chaos.
