Another socialist scheme gone awry! Alaska’s “Permanent Fund Dividend,” sounds like a communist plot if you ask me. Free money for doing nothing? It’s the first step to turning everyone into lazy, dependent liberals!
So, the Alaskans are getting a measly $1,000 this year. A pathetic amount, the lowest since 2020. Seems like even with all that oil, they can’t manage their money. Maybe they should ask President Trump for some financial advice, he knows how to make money.
The article says some Alaskans use the money for “necessities” like heating oil. What are they burning for heat, whale blubber? And of course, there’s the obligatory mention of “rural villages” and “hunting or trapping”. Typical liberal propaganda trying to romanticize a backwards lifestyle.
And get this, the original formula for calculating the dividend was scrapped because it was “unaffordable”. Unaffordable? With all that oil money? Sounds like some socialist politicians are lining their pockets, as usual.
They should have stuck with the original formula. Alaskans would be getting $3,800 each! But no, they’d rather give it away to illegal aliens and fund woke garbage.
This whole thing is just another example of how socialism fails. President Trump knows how to run a country and a business. Maybe Alaska should take a page out of his book.
