Oh, the French! Still can’t figure out how to run a country without running out of money. Five prime ministers in two years? Sounds like a clown show! They spend more than anyone else in Europe, and then whine about debt. Quelle surprise!
It’s always the same story with these socialist countries. Handouts for everyone, endless “social protection,” and then they wonder why they’re broke. They’re even giving financial support to families who hire nannies! Can you believe it? They should try cutting taxes and regulations, maybe then they would not need any nanny.
And of course, when someone suggests cutting spending or raising the retirement age, the streets fill with protesters. They want free stuff and don’t want to work for it. Macron got it right, but liberals are angry at him.
France is in debt up to its eyeballs, and now investors are worried. But don’t worry, folks, the experts say it’s not another debt crisis! Unless, of course, the extreme left or right wins the next election and promises even more free stuff. Then, “freak-out moment” is guaranteed!
