⏲️ Le Speed-Jobbing : Comment ça marche ?

• Inscription : un dépôt de 10$ par participant est demandé à tous les candidats. Les frais seront payables sur Eventbrite et remboursés sur participation à l’événement.
• Confirmation d’inscription : suite à votre inscription sur Eventbrite, vous serez invités à une rencontre avec un de nos agents afin de confirmer votre participation.

Certains employeurs peuvent être ouverts à rencontrer des candidats éligibles à la Mobilité Francophone. Pour cela, nous pouvons prendre l’intérêt des candidats sans statuts pour travailler au Canada et évaluerons les possibilités de participation plus tard dans le processus en fonction des besoins des employeurs. Notez que la priorité sera donnée aux personnes autorisées à travailler au Canada.

Après votre inscription :

Notre équipe prendra contact avec vous pour évaluer si votre profil répond aux offres d’emploi disponibles pour l’événement

Vous recevrez ensuite vos informations de connexion à la plateforme 2 jours avant l’évènement

48h avant l’événement :

• Recevez l’agenda avec le nombre d’entretien et les noms des entreprises que vous rencontrerez (jusqu’à 5 entreprises).

24 Mars – Atelier : comment créer une première impression mémorable en seulement 12 minutes ?

• Optimisez votre candidature et votre capacité à vous mettre en avant en un temps restreint grâce à une formation offerte par la SDÉCB.
• Recevez des astuces essentielles pour naviguer avec aisance dans cet environnement en ligne, avec Patrick Lacroix, responsable de la plateforme internet du Speed-Jobbing

• Le lien de connexion vous sera envoyé le 20 Mars.

Le jour du Speed-jobbing :

• Pour chaque entretien vous aurez accès à une salle virtuelle.
• Vous aurez jusqu’à 5 rondes d’entretiens de 12 minutes avec une pause de 3 minutes entre chaque ronde pour changer de salle virtuelle.
• Le temps restant est affiché lors de votre entretien.

⏩ Accelerate your search for a skilled job in British Columbia, by attending the online Speed-Jobbing on March 26!

Our 100% online Speed-Jobbing event (while keeping the advantages of its unique format) connects British Columbia employers with skilled immigrants: French-speaking newcomers or skilled immigrants wishing to settle permanently in the local job market.

🤝 Why should you participate?

Save time: We schedule interviews based on your skills and the relevance of your profile to the various job offers.

Get started: Prepare your speech and be ready for your interviews with a training session reserved for Speed-Jobbing participants.

Network with recruiters: Apply for opportunities you have identified with participating companies and take advantage of this event to put yourself forward.

⏲️ Speed-jobbing: how does it work?

• Registration: We require each candidate to pay a $10 deposit on Eventbrite which is refundable upon participation in the event.
• Registration confirmation: Following your registration on Eventbrite, you will be invited to a short interview with one of our agents to confirm your participation in the event.

All non-eligible candidates who paid the registration fee will be reimbursed.

Employers could be open to meet prospective candidates eligible to the Francophone Mobility Visa. Also, we will keep the applications of candidates without immigration statuses yet on a waitlist and will assess the opportunities for the event later on in the selection process based on the recruitment needs. Please note that due to limited spots, priority will be given to candidates authorized to work in Canada.

After registering:

• Our team will contact you to assess whether your profile matches the job offers available for the event.
• You will then receive your login details for the platform 2 days before the event.

48h before the event :

Receive your personal event schedule (matchings with up to 5 recruiters)

• Optimize your application and ability to present yourself effectively in a short time with training offered by the SDÉCB.
• Receive essential tips to navigate confidently in this online environment, with Patrick Lacroix, the person in charge of the Speed-Jobbing online platform.
• Training in English.

On the Speed-jobbing day:

• Up to 5 interviews per candidate
• For each interview, you will have access to a virtual room.
• Each interview = 12 minutes, break of at least 3 minutes between interviews to change rooms.
