Oh joy, another brand trying to make a name for itself in the already overcrowded TV market. But hey, when it’s Hisense, the brand that’s been around since the late 1960s, you’ve got to give them some credit. I mean, they’ve been producing TVs for over 40 years, and they’ve even acquired television giant Toshiba in 2018, because apparently we haven’t milked this franchise enough yet. Now, they’re partnering up with FIFA for the third consecutive World Cup, because who doesn’t love a good sporting event to sell some TVs?
The Rise of Hisense
Hisense has been around for a while, but it’s only recently that they’ve started to gain some traction in the market. And it’s not hard to see why – their TVs are actually pretty great, especially when it comes to price and quality. They’ve got some fancy RGB MiniLED technology that’s supposed to make colors pop, and it’s available in some of their higher-end models like the UR8 and UR9. I mean, who doesn’t love a good game of soccer, and with Hisense’s TVs, you can bet your bottom dollar that the colors will be so vivid, you’ll feel like you’re right there on the field.
FIFA World Cup Partnership
So, Hisense is partnering up with FIFA for the World Cup, and they’re providing all the display equipment for the FIFA World Cup Video Operation Room (VOR) and the Video Assistant Referee Review displays. Because, you know, when it comes to making split-second decisions about whether a player is offside or not, you want the best technology possible. And Hisense’s RGB MiniLED tech is supposed to be top-notch, so I guess it’s a good fit. Another day, another roadmap, and Hisense is checking all the right boxes.
Consumer Experience
But what about the consumer experience, you ask? Well, Hisense’s Chief Marketing Officer, Sarah Larsen, says it’s all about giving your guests the best viewing experience possible. And with their “Out Host With Hisense” campaign, they’re trying to make it easy for consumers to host the best World Cup watch parties ever. I mean, who doesn’t love a good watch party, am I right? Nature is healing, and Hisense is making sure that your viewing experience is top-notch. Shareholders rejoice, Hisense is doing something right.
The Future of TVs
So, what’s next for Hisense? Well, they’re expanding into kitchen appliances and beyond, because why not? I mean, if they can make a good TV, maybe they can make a good toaster too. And who knows, maybe they’ll come up with some new innovative technology that’ll blow our minds. At this point, even the loading screens have lore, and I’m excited to see what Hisense comes up with next. Live-service enthusiasts are preparing the candles and summoning circle, and The PS2 memory card community is devastated, but I’m just excited to see what the future holds for Hisense.
