The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and her spokesperson, Eduardo Negrón, said security stopped the alleged trespasser before they reached the house. Bless their hearts, I guess they were trying to get a glimpse of the former vice president’s digs.
I mean, can you imagine just walking onto someone’s property, especially when it’s a high-profile person like Kamala Harris? You’d think people would know better. Anyway, Negrón said Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, weren’t even home at the time, so I guess the trespasser was just looking for a nice view of the Pacific Ocean or something.
The spokesperson for the sheriff’s department, Julia Ann Tafoya, said deputies responded to a suspicious person call and made contact with private security on the property. They warned the individual to leave, and they did so voluntarily without incident. I guess that’s a relief, but still, it’s a bit concerning that someone tried to sneak onto the property in the first place.
It’s also worth noting that Harris doesn’t have a Secret Service detail anymore, thanks to President Donald Trump revoking her protection last summer. I mean, I’m no expert, but it seems like that might be a bit of a security risk, especially with all the craziness going on in the world. But hey, what do I know?
The incident happened amid all these fears of political violence, and I’m thinking, yeah, that’s not exactly the most reassuring thing to hear. There have been multiple assassination attempts against Trump, and that conservative activist Charlie Kirk was fatally shot. It’s just a lot of drama, if you ask me.

I’m thinking, okay, lady, you’ve got the experience, but can you please just keep your property secure in the meantime?
