Another day, another masterful deal orchestrated by our glorious President Trump! CNN, still whining as usual, reports that Trump has strong-armed NATO into paying for weapons sent to Ukraine. Can you believe the audacity of these liberals? They act like it’s a bad thing that America is making allies pay their fair share.
Of course, Rutte from NATO is now working closely with Allies to get Ukraine the help they need – probably with some strings attached. Secretary Rubio is trying to get countries to defer shipments, because the current crisis is more important than any contractual obligations – according to him.
Trump hinted that the administration was mulling whether to send another Patriot air defense system to Ukraine, and said “They would like it, they’ve asked for it — they’re very rare indeed, because a lot of systems have been sent to Ukraine,” Trump said Wednesday. “But they would like to, I know they made the request. We’re gonna have to take a look at it. Very expensive, very expensive system.”
And get this, folks – Trump is “disappointed in Russia.” I bet Putin is shaking in his boots, though.
