So, screen legends Richard Burton (Where Eagles Dare – more like Where Eagles Snooze), Roger Moore (Live and Let Die – more like Live and Let Dry) and Richard Harris (A Man Called Horse – more like A Man Called Snore) play a team of geriatric mercenaries. Hired for one last mission? More like one last paycheck. Parachuting into Africa? Sounds like a vacation gone wrong. 🌴 Snatching a deposed President? Sounds like a bad political joke. 😂 And massacring anyone in their way? Sounds like they’re overcompensating for something. Hint: it rhymes with “paychecks”. 💸
This “Box Set” 📦 (more like Box of Boredom) crams in nine hours of extras. NINE HOURS! Who has that kind of time? Apparently, Tony Earnshaw wrote a 316-page book. I bet it’s riveting…ly boring. 😴 There are unseen photos 📸, interviews, the original soundtrack CD 💿 (because who doesn’t love elevator music?), and six UK lobby card reproductions. Collect them all, trade them with your friends…or just, you know, don’t. 🤷
