MOONSPELL finally ran out of vampire novelty checks and had to actually try on their next album far from god after Fernando Ribeiro almost lost his goth card for not being edgy enough

In a shocking turn of events, the vocalist of MOONSPELL, Fernando Ribeiro, has come out and said that he didn’t feel inspired to write music anymore after the band’s last album, “Hermitage” 🎸. I mean, who can blame him? The pressure to constantly create new music can be overwhelming, especially when you’re a metal band and everyone expects you to be, well, metal all the time 🤘. But fear not, dear fans, because Fernando found his muse again, and it’s all thanks to a little movie called “Nosferatu” 🦇. Because, you know, vampires are always a great source of inspiration, especially when they’re not sparkly and emo 🙄.

Apparently, Fernando was so inspired by the movie that he wrote the title track for their new album, “Far From God”, in just one breath 🤯. I mean, that’s some serious creativity right there 🌟. And the best part is, the song is all about tragic, romantic vampire love 🎶, because who doesn’t love a good love story about bloodsucking creatures of the night 💉? The song is described as a “hymn to tragic vampiric love” and features “dense guitars, deep resonant vocals and dramatic dynamic shifts” 🎸, which sounds like the perfect recipe for a metal song about vampires 🤘.

But that’s not all, folks! Fernando also talked about the band’s musical inspiration for the new album, saying that they’re going back to their gothic metal roots 🌳. Because, you know, gothic metal is all about being dark and moody, and what’s darker and moodier than vampires 🦇? The band has already released two singles from the album, “Far From God” and “Cross Your Heart” 🎶, and they’re both perfect examples of the band’s ability to create music that’s both heavy and romantic 💘.

Fernando also mentioned that he was inspired by the movie’s aesthetic and soundtrack 🎵, which is no surprise, given that the movie’s director, Robert Eggers, is known for his visually stunning and atmospheric films 🌌. And let’s be real, who wouldn’t be inspired by a movie about a vampire who’s just trying to mind his own business, take care of his kingdom, and not get staked through the heart 💀? It’s a tale as old as time, folks 🎶.

In all seriousness, though, it’s great to see MOONSPELL back in the game, and their new album “Far From God” is definitely something to look forward to 🎉. So, if you’re a fan of gothic metal, vampires, or just good old-fashioned metal music, be sure to check it out 🎧. And who knows, you might even find yourself falling in love with the tragic, romantic tale of a vampire who just wants to be loved 💌.

The album is set to be released on July 3 via Napalm Records 📆, so mark your calendars and get ready to rock 🤘. And don’t forget to watch the videos for “Far From God” and “Cross Your Heart” on YouTube 📹, because they’re definitely worth a watch 🎥. With their new album, MOONSPELL is sure to take the metal world by storm ⛈️, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us 🤔.
