Witness Ace Frehley’s triumphant return to M3 Rock Festival 2025, where he’ll probably remember at least *one* song 🎸🔥🤡

Ace

Breaking News: Some Dude Filmed Ace Frehley at M3 Rock Festival! 🤣 We have obtained EXCLUSIVE (totally not shaky and out-of-focus) fan-filmed video of Ace Frehley gracing the stage at the 2025 M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, Maryland. Prepare to be amazed (or mildly entertained, depending on your expectations, which should be subterranean).

Apparently, according to some website called Setlist.fm (never heard of it, must be a conspiracy), here’s the setlist Ace unleashed upon the unsuspecting masses:

  • 1. Shock Me (KISS song) – Because Ace writing original material is, like, *so* 1978.
  • 2. Deuce (KISS song) – More KISS! Because nostalgia is the only thing keeping this train chugging along. 🚂
  • 3. Rocket Ride (KISS song) – Still riding that rocket, Ace? More like a rusty scooter at this point. 🛵
  • 4. Rock Soldiers (FREHLEY’S COMET song) – A deep cut! Or just a desperate attempt to remind people he did something else besides KISS. 🤔
  • 5. Love Gun (KISS song) – Pew pew! Still firing blanks, eh Ace?
  • 6. How Many More Times (LED ZEPPELIN cover) (chorus and drum solo only) – Because covering Zeppelin properly is *hard*. Let’s just butcher the chorus and throw in a drum solo to distract everyone. 🥁
  • 7. Rip It Out – A solo track! Did anyone actually recognize it? Probably not.
  • 8. Detroit Rock City (KISS song) – Back to the KISS well! Can’t go wrong with a classic… even if it’s played at half-speed. 🐢
  • 9. She (KISS song) – She? More like “meh.”
  • 10. Hotter Than Hell (KISS song) (short instrumental played by the band during Ace’s guitar switch) – A guitar switch interlude! Because Ace needs a break, and the audience needs… well, something. 😴
  • 11. New York Groove (Russ Ballard cover) – The only song people actually know him for solo. Go figure. 🤷‍♂️
  • 12. Cold Gin (KISS song) – Perfect for a hot summer day! (Said no one ever). 🧊
  • 13. Ace Frehley Guitar Solo – The moment everyone waited for! (Or used as a bathroom break). 🚽
  • 14. Rock And Roll All Nite (KISS song) – The obligatory closer. Because if you don’t play this, did the concert even happen? 🎉

Ace’s current backing band, consisting of Ryan Spencer on bass, Jeremy Asbrock on guitar, and Scot Coogan on drums, is apparently a thing. Good for them! They’re probably thrilled to be associated with… this. 😅

In other news, Ace is working on “Origins Vol. 3,” the sequel to his cover album empire! He’s reuniting with producer Alex Salzman, because apparently, lightning *can* strike twice… or at least produce a mediocre cover album. 💿 He also said he might bring back Steve Brown for the *next* original album, because consistency is for squares! 🤪

Ace claims the first two “Origins” albums sound “just as good” as his new album, “10,000 Volts.” That’s… debatable. Let’s just say Ace’s ears might need a tune-up. 👂

When asked about song choices for “Origins Vol. 3,” Ace coyly said he has a list of 50 songs but won’t reveal anything. Ooh, the suspense! 🙄 Will he cover more KISS songs? Will he finally tackle “Stairway to Heaven” and completely butcher it? The possibilities are endless! (And terrifying). 😱

Ace also boasted that he can record the album in a month because he doesn’t have to write the songs. “That’s the beauty of the ‘Origins’ series,” he chuckled. “I don’t write!” Well, at least he’s honest. 🤷‍♀️

“Origins Vol. 2” featured a bunch of covers, including a bonus track of KISS’s “She.” Because why not beat a dead horse? 🐴 It also had guest appearances by Robin Zander, Lita Ford, and Bruce Kulick. A regular who’s who of… well, you know. 🤷

“Origins Vol. 1” actually charted! At No. 23! With 16,000 units sold! People actually *bought* this?
