OMG! 😱 Your favorite band, LEPROUS (yes, the guys who make music your grandma probably wouldn’t understand), is dropping a new live album called “An Evening Of Atonement”! Prepare to be mildly entertained on October 24, 2025, thanks to the masterminds at InsideOut Music. I know, right? Another live album. As if we needed more excuses to avoid actual human interaction.
So, after their latest album, “Melodies Of Atonement” (which, let’s be honest, you probably streamed once and then forgot about), LEPROUS decided to grace the stage of Poppodium 013 in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Apparently, it was a “big” and “explosive” show. Sure, Jan. They were there 15 years ago as an opening act, now they came back to play their own concert. Which is now being immortalized on limited 2CD, Blu-ray digipak, gatefold 3LP (because who still uses vinyl?) and digital album (2CD). The artwork? Oh, it’s based on photos by Mathilde Miossec and designed by Ritxi Ostáriz. Prepare to be underwhelmed.😴
LEPROUS, in their infinite wisdom, commented: “We played the biggest shows of our career!” Well, congrats guys! 🥳 “We aimed to put on a spectacle!” A spectacle of what? Overpriced tickets and pretentious stares? “It all culminated in this — ‘An Evening Of Atonement’!” Because nothing says “excitement” like a live album no one asked for. 🙄
“‘Melodies Of Atonement’ was another evolution!” Oh yeah? Like, what kind of evolution? From bad to slightly less bad? “Focusing on what WE as five musicians sound like together!” Five musicians trying way too hard to sound unique. “Performing those songs on stage was a thrill!” Probably more of a thrill for you than for anyone in the audience. “Creating a special setlist was an exciting challenge!” I bet! I mean, how do you even choose which songs to bore people with? 🤔
