Oh boy, are you guys ready for some epic news? 🤯 I just found out that CREED is back and touring, and I’m not sure if I should be excited or concerned for the sanity of the new generation of fans who are just discovering them. I mean, it’s not like they’re a cult or anything… 🙃 Anyway, Mark Tremonti, the guitarist of CREED, recently spoke with the Preston & Steve show on 93.3 WMMR, and let’s just say he’s pretty stoked about the whole thing.
So, apparently, CREED has been on a reunion tour, and it’s been a wild ride. Mark Tremonti said that it’s like they’re experiencing a resurgence, kind of like what happened with BON JOVI. He’s all like, “Hey, maybe one day we’ll be cool again,” and it seems like that day has finally arrived. I mean, who wouldn’t want to see CREED live, right? It’s not like they’re a band that’s been playing the same songs for the past 20 years or anything… 🙄
The Nostalgia Train Has Arrived
Mark Tremonti also talked about how music is like magic, and how it can make people cry, get tattoos, or even claim that it’s saved their lives. Yeah, because that’s exactly what I want to do with my life – get a tattoo of Scott Stapp’s face on my back. 🤣 But seriously, it’s pretty cool to see how music can bring people together, even if it’s just a bunch of dudes singing along to “Higher” at the top of their lungs.
CREED announced their reunion back in the summer of 2023, and since then, they’ve been touring non-stop. They even released their “Greatest Hits” collection on vinyl, which debuted on the Billboard Top 200. Because, you know, what’s more metal than listening to CREED on vinyl? 🤘 They’ve also had their songs featured in various commercials, sports events, and even a NASCAR campaign. I mean, who wouldn’t want to associate their brand with a band that’s known for their uplifting, soul-crushing ballads? 🤣
The New Generation of Fans
Apparently, CREED has gained a new generation of fans, thanks to TikTok and other social media platforms. Because, you know, what’s more authentic than discovering a band through a 15-second video of someone lip-syncing to “With Arms Wide Open”? 🙄 But hey, at least they’re introducing their music to a new audience, right? I mean, it’s not like they’re just pandering to the nostalgic crowd or anything… 🙃
So, there you have it – CREED is back, and they’re bigger than ever. With over 53 million albums sold worldwide, they’re one of the most successful rock bands of all time. And who knows, maybe they’ll even inspire a new generation of musicians to create music that’s just as… interesting. 🤣 Just kidding, folks – CREED is a national treasure, and we should all be grateful for their contribution to the world of music. Or not. 🤷♂️
