Sid Wilson, the guy who mashes buttons in SLIPKNOT (yeah, that band your mom hates 👵), has launched Vomit Face Records. Seriously, Vomit Face? 🤢 Did he come up with that name while, well, you know? Their first release is “Take It Back,” a track so genre-bending it’s probably broken its spine. It features Lil Bushwick (who?) and some posthumous vocals from his dad, Bushwick Bill. 👴 Co-produced by DJ Lethal, because apparently LIMP BIZKIT wasn’t embarrassing enough the first time around. 🤡 What a waste of talent… or lack thereof.
“Me and Bushwick Bill promised to make an album,” says Sid, probably while wearing a gas mask indoors. ☣️ “Then he died, bummer. But don’t worry, I found his son! And I promised his ghost 👻 I’d produce an album for him! And with the help of DJ Lethal, we added an old track from Bill! We did the impossible!” Yeah, the impossible, like making this track listenable. 🗑️
Lil Bushwick chimes in, “Collaborating with my dead pops is like, totally awesome. 🤙 Hearing his voice brings me back to simpler times. He’d be proud of how I rap, ’cause I’m totally myself!” Yeah, totally unique, like every other SoundCloud rapper with daddy issues. 🙄 Long live Chuckwick 4L! (Whatever that means.) 🤔
Vomit Face Records is a “haven for outliers.” Aka, artists who are too weird for even the weirdos. 👽 The roster includes Lil Bushwick, Sid Wilson (duh), J57 (who?), DEAD X HEDZ (sounds painful 🤕), Rome Fortune (hope he has some), Ricardo Grimm (sounds spooky 👻), and Mars Black (emo?).
Sid says Vomit Face Records is “about tearing down walls.” 🧱 More like tearing down eardrums.👂 “It’s for artists who don’t fit in!” 🤡 Yeah, because they’re terrible. “It’s to celebrate imperfection!” Like his DJ skills? 🎚️ “Real art isn’t pretty!” No kidding. “It should stir something slightly uncomfortable!” Like nausea? 🤮 “It’s a place for misfits to have a voice!” Please, no. 🙉
Lil Bushwick‘s album, “Lil Bushwick,” drops on Halloween. 🎃 Perfect for scaring away trick-or-treaters. It starts with his dad saying, “This year Halloween fell on a weekend.” Deep. It’s a “daring, emotional journey through grief.” 😭 So, basically, a bummer. 😫 Narrated by Bushwick Bill! From beyond the grave! 👻 This sounds like a train wreck… but you just can’t look away. 🚂
“This project shows my diversity as an artist,” says Lil Bushwick, bless his heart. 💖 “It pushes the envelope musically!” Off a cliff? ⛰️ “It takes you through every emotion!” Mostly boredom. 😴 “And brings you into the mind and life of Bushwick!” Which is probably a lawsuit waiting to happen. 👨⚖️
