Burton C. Bell’s Still Got It? Ex-Fear Factory Singer Claims He’s Not a Dinosaur

So, Burton C. Bell, the guy who used to scream in FEAR FACTORY (before he rage-quit 😭), gave an interview to some podcast called And Now The Band. Apparently, he’s been super busy releasing solo singles like they’re going out of style. We’re talking “Savages” (2025), “Anti-Droid” (2024), “Technical Exorcism” (also 2024), and a cover of RAMMSTEIN’s “Du Hast” (2023). Dude’s really making a name for himself… as a solo artist who covers other bands’ songs. 🤷‍♂️

According to Burton (as transcribed by the elite journalists at BLABBERMOUTH.NET), he’s now working with all sorts of producers. Like, he met Alex Crescioni while recording the RAMMSTEIN cover. Yeah, that’s right, the cover that nobody asked for. But hey, at least it led to “Anti-Droid”, which is totally gonna be the next big hit… in your dreams. 🤣 He’s also got a band now, which includes a guitar player-producer named Henrik Linde, who wrote “Savages”. And Burton is like, “It’s a banger, man!” Sure, Burton, whatever you say. 🙄 He thinks his fanbase is thrilled, but let’s be real, most people are probably just wondering when FEAR FACTORY is gonna get back together. 💔

But wait, there’s more! Burton promises even more new music is coming soon. It’s gonna be heavy, groovy, dark, and moody, just like everything else he’s ever done. 😴 One of the songs has a BLACK SABBATH/TYPE O NEGATIVE vibe, which is totally original and not at all derivative. 🙄 He’s hoping to keep working with his new band, because what’s good for him is great for them. Yeah, sure it is, Burton. They’re definitely not just using you for your name recognition. 😇

So, is Burton planning on releasing a full album? Nah, too much work. He’s thinking an EP first, then maybe an album later. But the real goal is to “keep dropping nuggets here and there for the fans” to show them he’s “still alive” and “still working”. Don’t worry, Burton, we definitely thought you were dead. 💀 And most importantly, he wants to prove he’s “not obsolete yet.” Mission… maybe possible? 🤔

Burton recently kicked off his Australian solo tour, which is sure to be a massive success… if by “massive” you mean “attended by a handful of die-hard fans and a few confused kangaroos.” 🦘 He also played his first concert with his solo band in Los Angeles, which was probably just as epic. 🎉

Speaking of his band, it includes some guys you’ve definitely heard of… maybe. There’s Henrik Linde (THE VITALS, DREN), Ryan “Junior” Kittlitz (ALL HAIL THE YETI, THE ACID HELPS), Tony Baumeister (ÆGES), and Stewart Cararas. Yeah, those names totally ring a bell. 🔔

But let’s not forget Burton‘s illustrious past! He’s collaborated with Geezer Butler, Deen Castronovo, Al Jourgensen, and a bunch of other people you’ve probably forgotten about. He’s also been in ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS and CITY OF FIRE, because apparently one band just isn’t enough for this guy. 🔥 And of course, he was in FEAR FACTORY, which is the only thing anyone actually cares about. 🤷‍♀️

Burton is “super excited” about the future and his upcoming tour. He’s just trying to stay creative and express himself through his art. Which is great, but maybe he should consider getting a real job. Just a thought. 🤔
