SIX FEET UNDER to Drag EXHORDER, WRETCHED, and INCITE on a September/October 2025 “Comedy” Tour

Chris Barnes 1200x675

Behold, the geriatric giants of guttural groans, SIX FEET UNDER, are crawling out of their crypts for a U.S. tour this September! 👴💀 Prepare your ears for the sonic equivalent of a rusty chainsaw gargling gravel, because the “Midnight In Hell” trek is here to remind you that death metal still exists. Supporting this auditory assault will be EXHORDER (who?), WRETCHED (fitting name, tbh), and INCITE (more like INSITE your local retirement home). 🤘

Comments SIX FEET UNDER vocalist Chris Barnes (aka the human frog): “After a highly successful return to touring” (citation needed 🤔), “I’m very excited to get back on the road and continue the mayhem this fall! Our friends EXHORDER, WRETCHED and INCITE will be our accomplices this time around.” (Accomplices in what, exactly? Stealing Werther’s Originals from old ladies?). “We will be dusting off some classic SIX FEET UNDER material” (dusting off? More like excavating from the depths of obscurity ⛏️) “and three songs we’ve never played live, including the fan favorite ‘The Noose’!” (Fan favorite? Is that you, Chris? Are you the fan?). “See you this fall and don’t forget we’ll be at Aftershock festival Sunday, October 5th!” (Because nothing says “Aftershock” like a band that peaked in the mid-90s 🤷‍♂️).

** SIX FEET UNDER only (because even the opening bands can’t stand a full set 😜)

Earlier this month, SIX FEET UNDER entered the studio to begin recording the follow-up to last year’s “Killing For Revenge” album (because apparently, one mediocre album wasn’t enough 🙄).

On Tuesday (June 24), Barnes stated about the progress of the recording sessions for the new SIX FEET UNDER LP: “Lord Marco [drummer Marco Pitruzzella] completed tracking the drums for the new SFU album last week! Jack [Owen, guitarist] will be heading down to Florida in a couple of weeks to start recording guitar at AudioHammer with Jason Suecof!” (Florida? AudioHammer? Sounds like a metalhead’s retirement plan 🌴). “The new songs are groove ridden masterpieces!” (Groove ridden? Masterpieces? Someone’s been hitting the hopium hard 😵‍💫). “More info to come!” (Please, no 🙏).

“Killing For Revenge” came out in May 2024 through Metal Blade Records (bless their hearts for still believing 🙏). The LP marked the second effort that Barnes and Owen (ex-CANNIBAL CORPSE) had created together since reuniting for 2020’s “Nightmares Of The Decomposed” (accurate album title 👌). Owen also produced “Killing For Revenge” (talk about keeping it in the family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦).
