Witness the trainwreck: Matt Damon and Ben Affleck star in Joe Carnahan’s cinematic abortion, The Rip

Oh, look, it’s Ben Affleck and Matt Damon! 🎉 Back again, huh? This time they’ve teamed up with Joe Carnahan for The Rip. Because what the world REALLY needs is another cop movie. Seriously, guys? Couldn’t find anything better to do? I mean, Ben, aren’t you supposed to be Batman or something? And Matt, still trying to be Bourne? 🙄

So, here’s the groundbreaking, never-before-seen plot:

A bunch of Miami’s finest stumble upon a mountain of cash 💰 in some shady hideout. And guess what? Trust issues ensue! Like, duh! As if that’s not cliché enough, some outside forces get wind of the loot. Cue the paranoia, backstabbing, and dramatic slow-motion shots. Who can they trust? *eye roll* Probably no one, because that’s how these movies always go! 😴

And now, prepare to be amazed by the trailer! (Spoiler alert: it’s just like every other cop thriller you’ve ever seen.) 🎬

Oh, but wait, there’s more! They’ve assembled a stellar cast of… wait for it… Steven Yeun (probably regretting his life choices), Teyana Taylor (because why not?), Sasha Calle (Supergirl who?), Catalina Sandino Moreno (still around?), with special appearances by Scott Adkins (kicking things and taking names) and Kyle Chandler (the only one who might save this train wreck). 🚂

Mark your calendars, folks! The Rip will be gracing (or should I say disgracing?) Netflix on January 16th, 2026. Get ready for two hours of your life you’ll never get back! 😂

And because one poster wasn’t enough, here’s another one featuring Ben and Matt looking intensely into the distance. Probably contemplating their career choices. 🤔 Or maybe they’re just wondering where the craft services table is. 🍿

Can’t wait for this cinematic masterpiece? Me neither! (Just kidding, I’ll be watching cat videos. 😻)
