The official trailer for “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home” can be seen below. Like, if you’re REALLY bored. 😴

So, the BBC, bless their cotton socks, decided to unleash the “last chapter” of Ozzy Osbourne‘s saga (allegedly), which they yanked off the schedule faster than Ozzy can bite a bat’s head off. Apparently, the family had some “wishes” – probably to not air it, tbh. But NO! It’s back! On BBC One and iPlayer at 21:00 BST on October 2. Get your popcorn ready, folks! 🍿

Originally, “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home” was gonna grace our screens on August 18, but then, poof! It vanished. Replaced by “Fake Or Fortune”. Coincidence? I think not! 🧐

The BBC, in a moment of apparent sincerity, released a statement expressing “sympathies” and respecting the family’s “wishes”. Translation: “Oops, we messed up, sorry not sorry.” 🙄

This film, titled “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home”, is supposedly a “moving and inspirational account” of Ozzy‘s last hurrah. Think of it as a family reunion with added health scares and rock ‘n’ roll drama. 🤘 Featuring Sharon, Jack, and Kelly, because who else would want to be involved? 🤷‍♀️

Filmed over a whopping three years, “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home” allegedly captures the wild ride of the Osbournes attempting to move back to the U.K. (because where else would they go?), Ozzy battling to get fit (good luck with that, mate! 🤪), and the family dealing with the oh-so-dramatic consequences of his ill health. Because, you know, drama sells! 💰

The film is supposedly overflowing with “love, laughter, and tears” – the usual reality TV clichés. Expect “unforgettable family moments” that we’ve apparently come to expect from the Osbournes. It’s hailed as a “candid and uplifting tribute” to the one and only Ozzy. As Kelly so eloquently puts it, “Iron man wasn’t really made of iron”. Deep, right? 🤯

Clare Sillery, the head honcho at BBC documentaries, said they were “honored” to film with the Osbournes. She claims the film provides an “intimate glimpse” into their journey and hopes it brings “comfort and joy” to fans. Yeah, right. More like morbid curiosity, am I right? 😈

Ben Wicks and Colin Barr, the executive producers at Expectation, added that it was a “privilege” to spend the last few years with Ozzy and his crew. They claim Ozzy wanted to return to the U.K. and perform on stage one last time. Aww, how sweet. But let’s be real, it’s all about the ratings, baby! 🤑

“Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home” is brought to you by Expectation, in cahoots with JOKS Productions Limited, for BBC One and iPlayer. Clare Sillery commissioned it, because of course she did. Carl Callam is the BBC commissioning editor, because someone had to be blamed for this. Ben Wicks, Colin Barr, Rachael Barnes, and Louisa McKay are the executive producers at Expectation. And Banijay Rights is distributing it internationally, because the world needs more Osbournes, apparently! 🌍

Originally, this whole thing was supposed to be a series called “Home To Roost”, announced way back in 2022. But then, oops, Ozzy‘s health went south, so it morphed into a one-hour film called “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home”. Because who has the attention span for a whole series these days? 🤷‍♂️

Oh, and just a friendly reminder: Ozzy is immortal! 🤘
