Lucy Liu’s “Rosemead” Trailer: Prepare to Have Your Definition of “Career-Defining” Redefined (Again)

Oh, look, another movie about a “troubled” family! 🙄 Seriously, Hollywood, are we STILL milking this cow? Lucy Liu, bless her heart, probably needed the paycheck. “Career-redefining”? More like career-sustaining. This plot sounds like they threw every Asian drama trope into a blender and hit ‘puree.’ Get ready for simmering tensions and impossible choices – because originality is SO overrated. I bet you can already guess the ending. Don’t forget to bring your tissues and prepare to be mildly inconvenienced by feelings! 🎭🎬

So, Eric Lin, the directorial “genius” behind this cinematic masterpiece 🤣, has gathered a cast that screams “we needed representation points!” Lucy Liu, fine, she’s a legend, but Lawrence Shou? Orion Lee? Sounds like names pulled from a hat. Jennifer Lim and Madison Hu are probably wondering what they did to deserve this script. And James Chen? Well, someone had to be the token “Asian guy.” I’m sure they’re all thrilled to be part of this groundbreaking… or maybe ground-recycling… film. 🤷‍♀️

Rosemead opens in New York cinemas on 5th December and the in Los Angeles on 12th December 2025. Prepare for the cinematic event of the year… or, you know, just another movie to watch when you’re bored and scrolling through streaming services. 🗓️ See it in New York on December 5th, or Los Angeles on December 12th, 2025. Because who wouldn’t want to brave the overcrowded theaters and overpriced popcorn to see a film that promises all the feels and none of the originality? 🍿💸 Just remember, you were warned! 😉

Directed by Eric Lin, the film stars Lucy Liu, Lawrence Shou, Orion Lee, Jennifer Lim, Madison Hu, and James Chen.
