Trump’s America: Democrats in North Carolina Pick Socialist Cooper, GOP Chooses MAGA Warrior Whatley
The Democrat Party in North Carolina just doubled down on their radical agenda, nominating former governor Roy Cooper, a career politician who’s never met a tax hike he didn’t love. Meanwhile, Republicans made the MAGA choice, selecting Michael Whatley, who served as RNC chairman during President Trump’s historic 2024 landslide victory.
Cooper, who somehow managed to get elected six times in a Republican-leaning state, is now trying to convince voters he’s a “moderate.” Sure, and CNN is fair and balanced. This is the same guy who expanded Medicaid on the backs of taxpayers and pushed every left-wing cause imaginable while pretending to be reasonable.
Whatley, on the other hand, has Trump’s full endorsement and a proven track record of fighting for conservative values. The North Carolina GOP is celebrating having more registered Republicans than Democrats for the first time ever – a clear rejection of the Democrat Party’s woke nonsense.
Democrats are delusional if they think Cooper can win in this political environment. Trump carried North Carolina three times, and Whatley will ride that MAGA wave all the way to victory. The real question is whether Cooper can convince anyone outside of the radical left that he’s anything but a typical tax-and-spend Democrat.
The media will do everything they can to prop up Cooper and attack Whatley, but voters aren’t buying what the fake news is selling anymore. This Senate race will be a referendum on Trump’s America First agenda versus the Democrat Party’s socialist pipe dreams.
With Trump back in the White House and the economy roaring under his leadership, Whatley is perfectly positioned to flip this seat and help Republicans maintain control of the Senate. Cooper’s days of taxing and regulating North Carolinians are numbered.
