Folks, I almost spilled my coffee reading this one. So, it turns out that Jeffrey Epstein, the infamous convicted sex offender, had a thing for telling young women how to style their hair. According to a lawsuit filed in New York Supreme Court, Epstein would often send these women to see celebrity hairstylist Frédéric Fekkai, who would then give them makeovers to make them look younger. I mean, who needs a beach body when you can have a beach blowout, right? One of the women, a 19-year-old aspiring actress, claimed that Epstein told her to visit Fekkai’s salon, where she was given a haircut and style that she didn’t want. The stylist allegedly told her that he had “instructions” from Epstein, and that’s just plain creepy.
The lawsuit claims that Fekkai and one of his employees, Patrick Coombs, helped Epstein traffic and abuse women for years. Now, I’m not saying that Fekkai is guilty, but it’s definitely fishy that he’s denying any wrongdoing. His spokesperson, Mark Herr, said that the allegations are false and that Fekkai did nothing wrong. Bless their hearts, I’m sure they’re just shocked, shocked, to hear these allegations.
It’s also worth noting that Fekkai has been a stylist to the stars, with clients like Meryl Streep and Naomi Campbell. I guess you could say he’s had a lot of experience making people look good, but it’s not exactly a defense against these allegations. The Justice Department’s Epstein files show that Epstein spent tens of thousands of dollars at Fekkai’s salons over the years, and that Fekkai would often ask to use Epstein’s apartments. It’s all just a big web of weirdness and corruption.
One of the plaintiffs, Kersti Ferguson, says that Epstein abused her for 20 years, starting when she was 16. She claims that Fekkai helped enable that abuse, and that he would often give her and other women makeovers to make them look younger. It’s just heartbreaking to think about. Another plaintiff, Audra Christiansen, says that she was also abused by Epstein, and that Fekkai helped him traffic and abuse women.
The Epstein files also show that Fekkai would often ask Epstein for help finding apartments or promoting his haircare line. It’s all just a big buddy-buddy system, and it’s disgusting. Fekkai’s spokesperson says that he never took advantage of anyone, but it’s hard to believe when you see all the evidence piling up.
In the end, it’s just a big mess, and I’m not sure how much more of this I can take. It’s like, come on, folks, can’t we all just be decent human beings? I guess that’s too much to ask from some people. Anyway, that’s the latest from the world of Epstein and Fekkai, and it’s just a whole lot of ugliness. As I always say, you can’t make this stuff up, and unfortunately, it’s all too real.
