Architects FINALLY Snag a No 1 Hit After Only, Like, a Billion Years

ARCHITECTS, those oh-so-humble lads from across the pond, have finally stumbled their way to a U.S. Active Rock Radio No. 1 with “Everything Ends”. Yes, you read that right. No. 1. We’re sure it wasn’t just dumb luck or anything 🙄. It’s from their *checks notes* eleventh studio album, “The Sky, The Earth & All Between”, which dropped on February 28 via Epitaph Records. We’re thrilled for them… seriously…😬

The song, apparently, has been streamed over 25 million times. People are really into it, probably because there’s nothing else to listen to 🤔. This monumental achievement makes “Everything Ends” more popular than their previous hit, “Animals”, which peaked at No. 6 on MediaBase and No. 5 on Billboard Rock Airplay back in 2021. Slow and steady wins the race, right? 🐢 Meanwhile, “The Sky, The Earth & All Between” has sold over 80,000 album units. Not bad for a band that’s been around since, like, forever 👴.

The album, masterminded by the one and only Jordan Fish (who also works with BRING ME THE HORIZON, POPPY, and HOUSE OF PROTECTION – talk about a diverse resume 🤪), is being hailed for its “ambitious soundscapes” and “dynamic songwriting.” Yeah, whatever. Along with “Everything Ends”, other notable tracks include “Seeing Red” (which hit No. 13 on the Spotify Viral 50 US – congrats 🎉) and “Curse” (featured in WWE 2K25 – because nothing screams metalcore like professional wrestling 💪). So, basically, ARCHITECTS are now officially one of the most “vital forces” in modern metal. Or so they say 🤷.

ARCHITECTS first unleashed “Seeing Red” upon the world in December 2023, followed by “Curse” in April 2024. Groundbreaking stuff, really 😒.

From their humble beginnings playing dingy pub shows in Brighton to sharing stages with behemoths like METALLICA and LINKIN PARK, ARCHITECTS have always been about pushing the boundaries of heavy music. Or, you know, just making noise 🙉. “The Sky, The Earth & All Between” is supposedly their boldest evolution yet, blending “ferocious energy,” “intricate melodies,” and “emotional depth.” Basically, it’s their signature sound turned up to eleven. Now that they’ve conquered the U.S. radio charts, they’re gearing up for more dates across Europe and Australia. Prepare yourselves, world! 🌍 After a “high-octane” U.S. tour last fall. We are happy for them. Happy journey! ✈️
