NosTale Milks 18th Anniversary With Server, Rewards, and More (yawn)

Oh, great, another MMORPG 🙄clinging to life! Gameforge and Entwell are resurrecting ⚰️NosTale with the “NosVersary Server” – because who wouldn’t want to relive the glory days of… 2007? 🎉Get ready for rewards, double XP, and the crushing weight of nostalgia!🤣

So, NosTale, the MMORPG that refuses to die, is throwing itself an 18th birthday party.🎈🥳 They’re launching a “NosVersary Server” for a limited time, promising players the chance to “unite” and remember the “friendship, battle, and adventure.” Yeah, right. More like remember the endless grinding, the questionable fashion choices, and the lag.😩 But hey, at least there are “numerous rewards and events” for the “loyal fans” – or, you know, the handful of people who haven’t moved on to better things. Free Battle Pass? Supercharged weekends? Sounds like a desperate attempt to lure players back into the abyss.🕳️

Released in the dark ages of 2007, NosTale lets you choose between a Swordsman, Archer, or Mage. So original!🙄 You’ll fight monsters and other players, because that’s what people did in 2007. You can also “tame wild animals” to assist you – because nothing says “epic adventure” like having a virtual pet. 🐕And when you’re tired of all that, you can relax in your “Miniland” by building a home, gardening, and partying with friends. Sounds thrilling!😐

This “NosVersary” event is going to last six weeks, which is approximately 5. 🤣Expect a free Battle Pass, a daily login calendar (because who doesn’t love being nagged to log in every day?), permanent double XP (woo-hoo! more grinding!), and Triple XP on special weekends (even more grinding!). There will also be “custom progression raids” (whatever that means) and “supercharged weekend events” (more ways to waste your time). And the best part? At the end of the celebration, you can transfer all your hard-earned gear, items, costumes, and NosMall purchases to the permanent server! Assuming the servers are still running by then.🤞

But wait, there’s more!🎁🎉

Along with the NosVersary Server, there are events and rewards available across all servers, including:

An 18-day birthday login calendar (because who needs a real present when you can have a virtual one?🎁)
The Collectors’ Event (because nothing is better than collecting letters to get a buff)
Free and premium “Anniversary Wings” for players to claim (because every hero needs a pair of ridiculously oversized wings)

And if that’s not enough, Gameforge is hosting a global fan art contest!🎨 They want you to “design and submit your future in-game items,” like costumes, pets, and wings. The best design will win the opportunity to have their item featured in the game, and will also receive “exclusive NosTale merchandise.” Limited-edition collectibles, people! This is the opportunity of a lifetime! Or, you know, you could just go outside and enjoy the real world. 🏞️

As the community prepare to celebrate NosTale’s 18th anniversary, the Senior Product Manager at Gameforge, Nyoka, said: “NosTale has always been more than a game – it’s a shared journey. This anniversary is both a celebration and a thank-you to our loyal community. With the NosVersary Server, we’re opening the gates to a faster, deeper adventure for everyone.”
Wow, the Gates to a faster adventure sounds like a scam if you ask me. Just like the Gates to the outside when you’re in the dungeon.

So, that’s about it for NosTale’s 18th anniversary. If you’re feeling nostalgic, or just have a lot of free time on your hands, you can download the game for free on Steam. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you. 😈
