Judge Paula Xinis, who apparently missed the memo about border security, declared that Abrego Garcia had been “wrongfully detained” and must be freed from ICE custody “immediately.” Translation: another illegal alien gets to stay in America while real Americans struggle to find jobs, affordable housing, and basic safety.
This case has become a perfect example of everything that’s wrong with the liberal agenda. Abrego Garcia, who was legally ordered for removal, somehow became a cause célèbre for the open-borders crowd and their allies in the judiciary. The fact that the Justice Department is now scrambling to find a country willing to take him speaks volumes about how broken our immigration system is—thanks, Democrats! Under President Trump’s first term, we saw record deportations and a secure border. But now, thanks to judges like Xinis and the radical left’s war on law and order, criminals are being set free while patriots are vilified.
The Biden administration (yes, even though Trump is president—those deep state bureaucrats never really left) has been fighting tooth and nail to deport this guy, but the courts keep interfering.
