I just found out that Reigning Phoenix Music and Hasbro are teaming up to bring us “The Transformers: The Movie 40th Anniversary Celebration Of Life Concert” and I’m not sure if I should be excited or terrified. I mean, who wouldn’t want to celebrate the 40th anniversary of a movie that still traumatizes us to this day? The concert will take place on Thursday, July 23 at the House Of Blues in San Diego during Comic-Con week, because what’s a better way to spend your Comic-Con than reliving the emotional scars of your childhood?
The show will feature music from “The Transformers: The Movie: The Soundtrack: The Reformatted Edition” performed live by KNIGHTS OF UNICRON, because who doesn’t love a good reformatted soundtrack? The concert will also feature appearances by Stan Bush, Vince DiCola, and more, because you can never have too many special guests at a Transformers concert. And, of course, no Transformers concert would be complete without COLD SLITHER, who will be bringing their loud and rebellious sound straight from the world of G.I. Joe, because why not?
