CRADLE OF FILTH Still Exists Somehow Announces Tour With MOONSPELL And WORM

Oh boy, are you guys ready for some serious nostalgia overload? 🤯 Cradle of Filth is back with the second leg of their “Majestic In Death” North American tour, because apparently, we all needed more Filth in our lives. I mean, who doesn’t want to relive the magic of their 1996 album “Dusk… And Her Embrace” all over again? The band will be performing select tracks from this landmark release, because, you know, 30 years is a big deal. Can you believe it’s been that long since we were all screaming along to “Funeral in Carpathia” like our lives depended on it? 🎸

The “Majestic In Death II” tour will kick off on September 29 in San Diego, California, and will feature support from Moonspell, Worm, and Black Satellite, because why not? It’s not like we have anything better to do than watch a bunch of old guys play music from the 90s. The tour will make stops in Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, New York City, Boston, Cleveland, and more, because Cradle of Filth loves you, America.

The “Majestic in Death II” tour dates are as follows:

I mean, who doesn’t love a good list of tour dates? It’s not like we have better things to read than a bunch of city names and venues. Anyway, here are the dates:
Sep. 29 – San Diego, CA – The Observatory North Park
Sep. 30 – Phoenix, AZ – The Van Buren
Oct. 02 – Sacramento, CA – Aftershock Festival
…and so on. You get the idea.

So, what’s the big deal about this tour, you ask? Well, it’s not like Cradle of Filth has been doing anything interesting lately. I mean, their fourteenth studio album, “The Screaming Of The Valkyries”, came out in March 2025, and it was…fine. It was produced by Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studios, because who doesn’t love a good studio name? And, of course, the album was released via Napalm Records, because that’s just what Cradle of Filth does.

But, let’s be real, the real excitement is about the drama surrounding the band. You know, the usual – former members filing lawsuits, allegations of poor pay and “psychopathic” contracts. Just your average, everyday metal band stuff. Dani “Filth” Davey, the band’s vocalist, had some choice words about the whole ordeal, saying “We just ignored it. We actually, as people, as a band, as me, had done absolutely zero wrong.” Wow, what a shock. A musician being defensive about their actions. How original.

And, of course, we have to talk about the tour itself.

Because, you know, that’s what this article is about. The tour. Not the drama, not the new album, but the tour. So, Cradle of Filth will be playing all the hits, including some tracks from “Dusk… And Her Embrace”, because nostalgia is a powerful thing. And, who knows, maybe they’ll even play some new songs from “The Screaming Of The Valkyries”. But, let’s be real, we’re all just there for the old stuff.

In conclusion, if you’re a fan of Cradle of Filth, or just love watching old guys play music from the 90s, then this tour is for you. And, who knows, maybe it’ll be fun. Maybe. Possibly. Hopefully. 🤷‍♂️ But, hey, at least it’ll be a good excuse to break out the old black eyeliner and fishnet shirts. 🎸
