“Dirty Boy” Trailer: Prepare to Have Your Mind Hilariously Messed With

Dirty Boy 2 1

Alright, buckle up buttercups! Mystic Dream Story Studio (sounds legit), Stone Hill (probably a pile of rocks), and Saint Halo Productions (because nothing says “thriller” like a halo 😇) are unleashing their cinematic masterpiece, DIRTY BOY, upon unsuspecting UK cinemas starting September 10th. If you’re not lucky enough to live in the UK, don’t worry, you can stream it on digital platforms starting October 15th! Because who needs a good night’s sleep when you can have a “psychological cult thriller” invading your dreams? 🤪

So, get this, the film apparently graced the Raindance Film Festival with its presence, racking up a whopping four nominations! Four! Can you believe it? 🤯 Best Performance in a UK Feature (Graham McTavish – yes, the dude from The Hobbit, slumming it in a low-budget thriller), Best UK Feature (because apparently, there weren’t any good British comedies that year), Best Director of a UK Feature (Doug Rao – who?), and Best UK Cinematography (because even bad movies can look pretty).

Hold onto your hats, folks, because the plot is about to blow your mind! 🧠 A reclusive schizophrenic, raised in an oppressive cult (because why not?), suddenly discovers he’s being framed for a series of ritualistic murders (as one does). His mission? Prove his innocence by saving the next victim (because that’s totally plausible) and destroying the evil sect from within (insert maniacal laughter here 😂).

DIRTY BOY marks writer and producer Doug Rao’s feature-length directorial debut, which critics have already started praising with Dread Central saying it “Laughs in the face of horror” (probably because it’s so bad it’s funny 😂) and Cut To The Take calling it “Trippy, acid, hella fun in a twisted way” (because who needs actual entertainment when you can just get high and watch this garbage?).

DIRTY BOY’s standout cast includes Graham McTavish (The Witcher, Outlander, The Hobbit) – clearly needed a paycheck 💰, Stan Steinbichler (Zero Chill, Vienna Blood, Eismayer) – Sounds super familiar 🤔, Susie Porter (Gold, Wentworth Prison, Cargo) – okay, maybe some actual talent here 🙌, and Honor Gillies (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes) – trying to break free from the YA curse, huh? 💀 The film was produced by Giles Alderson (The Stranger in Our Bed, Wolves of War, The Dare) – seriously, who names these movies?, Sarah Ann Grill (Slammer, Solitary) – fitting titles for the experience of watching this film 🤢, and Marek Lichtenberg (The Final 45), who also stars in the film (talk about a triple threat of mediocrity 🤡).
