Turns out, some “leak” (cough, staged marketing, cough) says it’s dropping just in time for the holidays! Can you believe it? Another year, another “leak” from the totally-not-predictable Ubisoft pipeline. 🙄
So, after Ubisoft had a little “oopsie” with the development schedule (because making games is HARD, apparently 🤷♀️), some insider info spilled hotter than your grandma’s tea. Dealabs (who?) and VGC (vgcool!) are throwing around words like “release date” and “Nintendo Switch 2.” Because, you know, nothing says “surprise” like a meticulously planned leak. 🤫
Ubisoft? Leaks? Name a more iconic duo. I’ll wait. Oh wait, you can’t! Because it’s ALWAYS happening. Remember when that Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag dude opened his mouth? Good times. This time, it’s not a whole new game, just a port. A PORT! Like they’re doing us a favor. 🙄 Billbil-kun (whoever that is) says it’s coming December 5th. Mark your calendars, kids! Or don’t. Who cares? 🤷♂️
Apparently, some Reddit sleuths figured this out back in April 2025 because of a “ratings board leak.” Because the PEGI ratings board is totally known for its tight security. 😂 Fans “believed” it would come to Switch 2. Bless their naive souls. These “rumors” are heating up because a random website said so. Makes sense. 👍
The “leak” also says this game, which, by the way, is totally optimized for the Nintendo Switch 2’s cutting-edge graphics (lol), will come on a “Game Key Card.” NOT a cartridge! A “Game Key Card!” Which means you get the joy of buying a physical copy only to download 90% of the game anyway. 🤣 Remember the Cyberpunk 2077 debacle? History repeats itself, folks! And people online are, like, SO MAD about it. 😡 But hey, at least you get a little piece of plastic, right?
But, like, don’t get your hopes up too high. 🙄 I mean, it’s just a leak. Ubisoft could totally pull the rug out from under us at any moment. So, just sit tight and wait for the official announcement. Or, you know, don’t. Go play something else. Anything else. 🎮💩
