PUDDLE OF MUDD Dumps New Single ‘Monsters,’ Proving They Still Exist

Behold, peasants! PUDDLE OF MUDD, those titans of… well, *something*, have unleashed their latest auditory assault upon the world: a music video for their groundbreaking (not really) single, “Monsters.” 🤣 Prepare to be… mildly inconvenienced.

“Monsters,” a track so earth-shattering it was dropped in October with the stealth of a ninja (who forgot to take off their shoes), courtesy of the ever-so-relevant Virgin Records. 🙄 I bet you were all eagerly refreshing Spotify every nanosecond, just waiting for this masterpiece, right? Right?

Flashback to August 2025 (future prediction?🤔). PUDDLE OF MUDD, in a move that surely sent shockwaves through the music industry (or at least caused a slight tremor), signed a new management contract with NI Music Group. Soon after, Wes Scantlin, the band’s… uh… “charismatic” frontman, graced Warner Chappell Studios in Los Angeles with his presence. He was accompanied by NI Music Group CEO Eric T. Johnson, who apparently fancied himself a songwriter and producer. Together, with the help of audio engineer Ethan Ray Shevin, they birthed “Monsters.” Scantlin himself confirmed that the entire song was conceived, recorded, and produced during these legendary sessions. One can only imagine the creative genius that permeated the studio air. 💨

In other news that you probably already forgot, PUDDLE OF MUDD‘s recent album, “Kiss The Machine,” made its grand entrance in May via Pavement Entertainment. Yes, another collection of songs that definitely haven’t been done a million times before. 😴

Let’s not forget the illustrious history of PUDDLE OF MUDD, formed way back in 1991 in Kansas City by none other than Wes Scantlin, the last man standing (mostly because everyone else ran away screaming). They achieved mainstream “success” (debatable) with 2001’s “Come Clean,” which spawned the earworms “Control,” “Blurry,” and “She Hates Me.” Ah, memories of simpler times, when bad music was just… bad. Nostalgia, am I right? 👴

The band’s most recent touring lineup featured Scantlin, joined by returning bassist Michael Anthony Grajewski and fresh faces Miles Schon (son of JOURNEY’s Neal Schon – talk about living in your father’s shadow 🔦) on lead guitar and Jon Smith on drums. A true melting pot of talent (or something like that). They are a testament of the music industry! 👨‍🎤

So, there you have it. PUDDLE OF MUDD is still a thing. Go forth and… do whatever you want. I’m not your supervisor. 🤷‍♀️
