Leftists Throw Tantrum Over ICE Shooting, Demand America Open Borders Because One Bad Guy Died
Another day, another massive leftist meltdown in the streets of America. Thousands of snowflake protesters across the country – from Minneapolis to Los Angeles to the swamp of Washington DC – took to the streets this weekend screaming about the death of Renee Good, a 37-year-old woman who was shot by an ICE agent during a federal immigration raid.
The left is once again shrieking about “police brutality” and “ICE violence” while completely ignoring the fact that ICE was conducting a lawful operation to enforce immigration laws that were passed by Congress and signed by the President. But of course, the radical left has never met a law they actually like, especially if it involves keeping America safe.
In Minneapolis, snow was falling as thousands of protesters chanted, held signs saying “ICE will melt” (how original), and demanded the complete abolition of federal immigration enforcement. Never mind that Good was not an undocumented immigrant – she was a US citizen – but that inconvenient fact hasn’t stopped the left from using her death as a political weapon against President Trump’s immigration policies.
The protests were predictably violent in some areas, with demonstrators throwing snow and ice at federal buildings, spray-painting graffiti, and attempting to block vehicles. When police responded appropriately, the left immediately cried “police brutality” – the same tired playbook they’ve used for years.
Meanwhile, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz – that useless RINO – blamed President Trump for the incident while completely ignoring the fact that ICE was doing its job enforcing federal law. Walz whined on social media that “Trump sent thousands of armed federal officers into our state, and it took just one day for them to kill someone.”
Excuse me, Governor, but when did enforcing immigration law become murder? When did protecting American borders become a crime? The left’s logic is completely backwards – they’d rather have criminals and illegal immigrants flooding across our borders than have law enforcement do their constitutional duty.
And of course, the protests weren’t just in Minneapolis. Leftists came out in force across the country, from Los Angeles where they blocked highways and confronted police, to Washington DC where they marched in the rain carrying signs condemning federal authority. In Austin, Texas, protesters actually confronted armed federal officers outside a government building – because nothing says “peaceful protest” like challenging men with guns who are just trying to do their jobs.
The real story here isn’t about one tragic incident – it’s about the left’s complete and total war against American law, order, and sovereignty. They want open borders. They want to defund and dismantle federal law enforcement. They want to destroy ICE, CBP, and every other agency that stands between America and total chaos.
But President Trump and his administration aren’t backing down. While the left throws their temper tantrums in the streets, real Americans are grateful that federal agents are out there every day protecting our borders and enforcing our laws. The left can protest all they want, but they’re not going to stop America First.
