Game of Thrones: Because You Clearly Didn't Get Enough of People Screaming at Each Other in the Original Series, Now There's a Mobile Game Called Dragonfire

Oh boy, are you guys ready for some epic dragon riding and throne claiming? 🐉👑 With only a few weeks to go until House of the Dragon Season 3, a new mobile game, Game of Thrones: Dragonfire, has just landed on mobile devices, and it’s like, totally a thing now 📱🔥. Announced back in April, this free-to-play multiplayer strategy game is all about building your power, forming alliances, and taking on Westeros, because, you know, who doesn’t want to rule the Seven Kingdoms? 🤷‍♂️

I mean, let’s be real, Game of Thrones: Dragonfire is basically a way to keep you occupied while you wait for the new season of House of the Dragon 📺👀. Developed by Warner Bros. Games Boston, this game lets you become a Valyrian descendant and rising dragonrider, because who wouldn’t want to ride a dragon and burn some stuff? 🐉💥. You get to build your power across five dragon-led armies, take on other players, and seize control of King’s Landing, all while trying not to get too many spoilers for the upcoming season 🤫.

The game features 28 unique dragons, with more to come in the future, because, of course, you can never have too many dragons 🐉👍. Some of these dragons will be original, while others will be iconic ones like Caraxes and Syrax, because who doesn’t love a good Syrax? 🙌. You’ll also get to play the Dragon Strike minigame, where you can ride your dragon and attack armies and cities from above, because, why not? 🤷‍♂️. And, let’s not forget about the multiplayer system, where you can form alliances with other players, because teamwork makes the dream work, right? 🤝.

These events will feature new campaign scenarios with multiple branching outcomes, because who doesn’t love a good story? 📚. Some of these scenarios will even let you shape events from within, like securing Rhaenyra Targaryen’s claim to the Iron Throne, or infiltrating the Greens, because, you know, intrigue 🕵️‍♀️.

According to Matt Read, vice president and studio head of Warner Bros. Games Boston, the aim of Game of Thrones: Dragonfire was to “put the world of House of the Dragon directly into players’ hands,” because, why not? 🤷‍♂️. They wanted to create a game that feels true to the universe fans love, while giving them room to play their own way, because, you know, creativity 🎨. And, as a bonus, players who link their accounts to HBO Max can earn rewards by watching House of the Dragon Season 3, because, you know, cross-promotion 📺👀.

So, what are you waiting for? 🤔 Game of Thrones: Dragonfire is available to play now on iOS and Android, because, you know, mobile gaming 📱👍. And, if you’re still waiting for Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, don’t worry, it’s still coming, eventually 🕰️. But, in the meantime, you can always watch the upcoming season of House of the Dragon on Crave, starting June 21, because, you know, TV 📺👀. 🎉👏🔥
