Okay, gamers, listen up! 📢 We’ve got some earth-shattering news about a possible Resident Evil 0 remake. Because, you know, Capcom is totally running out of original ideas and just wants to milk our nostalgia for all it’s worth. 🐄💰
The Resident Evil remakes have been making Capcom a fortune 🤑, so they’re obviously going to keep churning them out until the well runs dry.💧 Rumor has it that a Resident Evil 0 remake is in the works, and some C-list actor is supposedly attached to it. Seriously, who even remembers Resident Evil 0? 🤔 But hey, hidden development gossip is always fun, especially when it involves remaking games nobody asked for. 🤷♂️ Apparently, this “secret project” titled Project Chamber (how original) confirms that this actor will be playing one of the two main characters. Because, you know, two whole characters is just too much to handle in one game. 🤯
Last year, some random internet dude named Dusk Golem (lol, what a name 😂) spilled the beans on possible remakes for Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil – Code: Veronica. Now, MP1st (who?) has “discovered” a connection between this guy Jon McLaren and the possible remake. Apparently, McLaren voiced Star Lord in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Yeah, that’s definitely the guy we want leading a Resident Evil game. 🤦♂️ The working title, Project Chamber, is supposedly a nod to Rebecca Chambers, one of the protagonists. But get this: McLaren supposedly looks more like Billy Coen, the other playable character! 🤣 So, naturally, everyone assumes he’s playing Billy. Because logic. 🤔
But wait, there’s more! 🤡 McLaren confirmed he worked on Project Chamber at Beyond Capture Studios, a casting and capturing studio. This is the same studio that did the motion capture for the Resident Evil 4 remake and its Separate Ways DLC. So, clearly, Capcom has no other options and will just keep using the same studio for every single remake. Because innovation is overrated, right? 🙄
So far, Capcom has been raking in the cash with its remakes of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4.💰💰💰 Capcom even said they’re thinking about remaking titles that aren’t part of the main series. Oh, joy! 🎉 They want to “expand the universe” by remaking old games for a “modern audience.” Because apparently, we’re all too stupid to appreciate the classics in their original form. 🤦♀️
The next big release is Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth installment in the main series. 🥳 But let’s be real, everyone’s more excited about the possibility of a Resident Evil 0 remake. 😴 I mean, who wouldn’t want to play as Rebecca Chambers again, solving puzzles in a train while being chased by leeches? 🤪 If not Resident Evil 0, maybe Code Veronica will get the remake treatment in 2027 or 2028. Because Capcom needs to keep milking that nostalgia cow for as long as possible. 🐄💰
