OMG! 😱 They’re FINALLY blessing us with more Saitama! 👴🏻 After all these years of waiting, Disney+ (yes, really 🐭) announced that One-Punch Man Season 3 will be gracing our screens on Sunday, October 12th. Stream it on Hulu/Disney+ if you dare! 😈 I bet they’ll still find a way to make Saitama look bored!😴
Saitama and his cyborg sidekick, Genos (who’s totally not compensating for anything with all that metal 🔩), are back to save the world one punch at a time 👊. This week, those corporate overlords at Disney+ announced that One-Punch Man Season 3 will premiere on Sunday, October 12th, streaming on Hulu/Disney+. Prepare yourselves for more mediocre animation courtesy of J.C.Staff 💀, with Shinpei Nagai daring to step into Chikara Sakurai’s shoes as director 🤡. And brace yourselves for even more artistic liberties taken by Sakura Murakami (replacing Shigemi Ikeda and Yukiko Maruyama) and Yuki Hirose (replacing Yoshio Ōkouchi). Oh, and a recap of Season 2 is out now, because let’s face it, you probably forgot what happened in that snooze-fest 😴.
After all that “special training” (probably just more baldness and existential dread), Saitama is still OP 🕹️. He’s so strong, it’s practically a plot hole. 🙄 Every fight ends with a single punch, leaving us all wondering why we even bothered watching. At least Genos is there to fanboy and ask the important questions, like “Saitama-sensei, what’s the meaning of life?” 🤔 Yeah, good luck with that, buddy. Together, they’ll continue their hero duties as members of the Hero Association, where they probably spend most of their time filing paperwork 🗂️ and complaining about the lack of recognition. 🏆
One-Punch Man Season 2 ended with some monsters from the Monster Association kidnapping a VIP’s kid 👶. The S-class heroes will probably gather and bicker about strategy, while Saitama wanders off to find a sale on groceries 🛒. And don’t forget about Garou, the “human monster” who thinks he’s so edgy 🔪. He’ll be brooding in the Monster Association hideout, probably writing bad poetry ✍️ about how misunderstood he is.
The opening theme for One-Punch Man Season 3 is “Get No Satified!” by JAM Project featuring Babymetal 🤘. Because what this anime REALLY needed was more idol music 🙄. The ending theme is “Soko ni Aru Akari” (‘The Light, That’s There’) by Makoto Furukawa. I’m sure it will be just as forgettable 🧽.
According to Variety, the streaming service for One-Punch Man Season 3 will vary by region. So basically, you’ll have to jump through hoops 🔥 to watch it. Depending on your country, you can catch it on Crunchyroll, Hulu, Netflix, or Disney+. Here’s the breakdown:
- United States: Hulu (because Disney owns everything 🐭)
- Canada: Disney+ (sorry, eh? 🇨🇦)
- United Kingdom: Crunchyroll (tea and anime ☕)
- Australia: Netflix and Crunchyroll (because everything’s upside down 🇦🇺)
- New Zealand: Netflix and Crunchyroll (sheep and anime 🐑)
Make sure to mark your calendars 🗓️ with the exact release times, so you don’t miss out on the disappointment!
- Japan: 11:45 pm JST (because they get everything first 🥇)
- United States: 7:45 am PT / 10:45 am ET (wake up early for mediocrity ☕)
- Canada: 7:45 am PT / 10:45 am ET (same as the US, but with more maple syrup 🍁)
- United Kingdom: 3:45 pm BST (afternoon tea and punching 🫖)
- Australia: 12:45 am AEST (next day) (stay up late for disappointment 🐨)
- New Zealand: 2:45 pm NZST (next day) (even later for sheep and anime 🐑)
While J.C. Staff hasn’t officially announced the episode count, we’re betting on 12 episodes 🎰, because why break tradition? Here’s our totally accurate (not really) release schedule:
- Episode 1 – October 12 (the day hope dies)
- Episode 2 – October 19 (still watching?)
- Episode 3 – October 26 (regret setting in)
- Episode 4 – November 2 (maybe it gets better?)
- Episode 5 – November 9 (nope, still boring)
- Episode 6 – November 16 (halfway there, almost done suffering)
- Episode 7 – November 23 (is this filler?)
- Episode 8 – November 30 (definitely filler)
- Episode 9 – December 7 (just give us the monster fight already)
- Episode 10 – December 14 (Saitama punches something… again)
- Episode 11 – December 21 (cliffhanger for no reason)
- Episode 12 – December 28 (finally, it’s over 🎉)
