Sophie Grey, the "Rising Star," Blesses the Stage with the Undeniably Legendary Trevor Horn

OMG , get ready to clutch your pearls! Rising star  Sophie Grey. (yes, the period is part of her name, deal with it) was graced by the presence of the one and only, legendary (allegedly) producer Trevor Horn for a *surprise* (as if we didn’t see that coming) live performance of Video Killed The Radio Star at her gig supporting Sting (who?) at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. Was it epic? Debatable. Was it necessary? Even more debatable.

The performance followed the release of Sophie Grey.’s (still with the period, I see) new version of Video Killed The Radio Star, which has been praised (by who? Her mom?) for its futuristic (read: generic), slow-burning (read: boring) synth production and nostalgic (read: unoriginal) flair.  Prepare your ears and eyes for the official video below (if you dare):
