Oh boy, are you guys ready for some epic news? 🎉👀 I mean, I know I am! 😂 Because, let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good story about a therapist’s patient going missing into a dimension beyond reality? 🤯 I mean, it’s not like we’ve seen that before in every other horror movie ever made 🎃👻. But hey, who cares about originality when you have a fancy trailer and a cast of actors who are probably getting paid way too much money to be in this movie? 💸🤑
So, apparently, 20-year-old Kane Parsons is the genius filmmaker behind the super popular Backrooms web series on YouTube. I mean, who wouldn’t want to watch a bunch of videos about creepy rooms and alternate dimensions? 📹👀 It’s not like there are better things to watch on YouTube, like cat videos or something 🐈🐱. Anyway, Parsons has teamed up with A24 to bring us a full-length feature film starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, Lukita Maxwell, and Avan Jogia. Wow, what a cast! 🤩 I bet they’re all just thrilled to be in a movie about creepy rooms and alternate dimensions 🙄.
And, of course, the trailer is out, because what’s a movie without a trailer, right? 📺👀 It’s like, the most important part of the movie 🤣. I mean, who needs actual plot or character development when you can just have a bunch of quick cuts and creepy music? 🎵👻 But hey, the trailer does look pretty cool, I guess 🤷♀️. If you’re into that sort of thing 🤔.
The movie is being produced by Atomic Monster, 21 Laps, and Chernin Entertainment, because, you know, it takes a village to make a movie about creepy rooms and alternate dimensions 🤣. And, of course, it’s going to be released in UK cinemas on May 29, 2026, because who doesn’t love a good horror movie in the middle of summer? 🌞👻 I mean, it’s not like people would rather be outside enjoying the sunshine or something 🌴🏖️.
Oh, and let’s not forget the character posters, because what’s a movie without a bunch of posters with the actors’ faces on them? 🤣👀 I mean, it’s not like we’ve seen those before 🙄. But hey, the posters do look pretty cool, I guess 🤷♀️. If you’re into that sort of thing 🤔.
So, are you guys excited for Backrooms? 🤔 I mean, I know I am! 😂 Just kidding, I’m not excited at all 🙅♀️. But hey, if you’re into creepy rooms and alternate dimensions, then I guess this movie might be for you 🤷♀️. Otherwise, you can just watch the trailer and pretend like you’re interested 📺👀. 🎉👏 👻💀🔪️🕷️👺💣🔥🎃
